Basic Life Support for Adults and Children (QA Level 2)
Our Basic Life Support for Adults and Children course gives learners the confidence and competence to respond effectively in life-threatening emergencies at work, in the community, or anywhere they may be called to act.
Designed for those with a specific responsibility to provide first aid, this accredited qualification equips participants with the essential skills to deliver safe, prompt and effective care to adults and children until professional help arrives.

This course is ideal for:
- Employees with designated first aid duties
- Community and voluntary workers
- Individuals who want to be prepared to provide immediate care in an emergency
Through practical, hands-on training, learners will gain the skills to:
- Recognise and assess an unresponsive casualty
- Deliver effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Manage choking, breathing emergencies and recovery positions
- Understand key differences in adult and paediatric basic life support
By the end of the course, learners will leave equipped to act calmly and effectively in critical situations.
