This nationally recognised qualification combines core life support training with specialist instruction on managing severe allergic reactions, helping participants build calm, competent responses to real-world situations

No prior first aid knowledge is required, just a commitment to protecting others and staying calm under pressure.

This course covers the recognition, response, and treatment of anaphylaxis alongside key life-saving skills. Learners will be able to:

  • Recognise the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
  • Deliver safe and effective basic life support (CPR)
  • Position and monitor an unresponsive casualty
  • Administer an adrenaline auto-injector (e.g. EpiPen, Jext) safely
  • Support breathing and circulation while awaiting medical assistance
  • Understand prevention and risk management of severe allergies

On completion, participants leave confident in managing critical situations swiftly and safely.

Accreditation

This course is accredited to QA Level 2 by the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), the recognised governing body for qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Successful learners receive a nationally recognised certificate, valid for three years.
